Compliments on the matching set (and why you need one)
Every now and then, we come across a very wearable, effortless trend that makes getting dressed a breeze. Enter matching collections. Love them. Not enough. I have a matching set in a variety of styles, from shirts and pants to tops and shorts to pajama-style leggings to nice breathable linens. Incorporating it into your closet with ease always makes for a sophisticated looking set. Here are some other reasons why this is definitely a trend you don’t want to miss.
Versatility Plus!
You can do so much with a matching set. It is a versatile addition to any closet. They can easily be dressy or casual because the coordinating factor makes it feel elaborate without having to do much. You can pair it with some gorgeous accessories like a statement necklace or earrings, or make it casual with a pair of sandals or flip flops and understated accessories.
This is the antidote to a closet crisis
If you wake up and realize that nothing in your closet is right, a matching set can save the day. You don’t have to think about styling or bother with matching pieces and you’re out the door in minutes. When I’m having one of those days, I throw on some gold jewelry like a necklace or personalized earrings, a nice pair of sandals or heels, and I’m ready to go.
Wear it instead of a dress
If you usually wear a dress to an event, consider swapping it for an elaborate matching set (kind of like this one). Choose a beautiful satin or silk suit, throw on a pair of heels and fine jewelry, and you’re done. The beauty of this is that you have two formal pieces that can be worn separately or reassembled into another outfit.
It’s a great place to travel to
As I said above, an outfit looks perfect together, but you can also turn it into a different look by pairing it with other things in your closet. The beauty of this is that you can carry one set with you, but wear it with the basics you’ve already packed (like a t-shirt or tank top or a pair of pants or shorts) and you’ll have a whole new look.
