What not to buy on sale – Your Fashion Trendy

What not to buy on sale

For some people, sale shopping can be an extreme sport, as it takes time and effort to find really good bargains. However, while I’ve made a list of sale items that I think are worth buying, I think there are some things that will end up being a waste of money in the long run – even if they are heavily discounted. This could be because they don’t fit, don’t go with the rest of your closet, or don’t really fit into your style. By buying things just because they’re on sale, you end up wasting valuable fashion money that could have been used to buy the things that fit your closet best. So keep these things in mind the next time you’re faced with a sale ……

Clothes are too small
It’s not fun when you find something you like but it’s the wrong size, but don’t fall into the trap of grabbing something that fits quite well with the plan to fit it someday. Chances are, that dress will stay in the back of the cupboard. Things may be different for slightly larger clothes, as they can be customized, but be wary of clothes that are too tight. Been there and done that!

Wildcard items
From time to time, you may find something that seems a little out of place in your closet, but it may be a welcome addition to your closet. In general, however, anything that’s a bit variable can be variable for one reason: it doesn’t fit your look or the clothes you already own. Additionally, when prices drop significantly, people buy things because they’re on sale, and that’s when you’re likely to get something that won’t work. So let go of those random items and spend your money on something of value. Sale season is not the time to go all out with a neon yellow dress when your 365-day-a-year look consists entirely of neutrals.

Multiple items you already own
Most of us have habits when it comes to what we wear, so it’s only natural to go for safe, tried-and-true clothing when it’s on sale. I’m all for staying in your cab, but when you’re buying the same items over and over again, it’s not good for your bank balance, nor does it expand your clothing options in any way. Yes, you may love white t-shirts, but do you have to buy the exact same 10 white t-shirts you already have in your closet? One of the goals of buying anything (on sale or not) should be to open up some new clothing options.

What’s uncomfortable
It doesn’t matter if something is name brand and on sale for 75%, if you’re uncomfortable wearing it, you’ll never wear it, which means you’re just wasting your money on something that’s never going to show its face. DAYS. I’m talking about things that tickle and itch, have too many buttons when you hate them and need to constantly readjust them, or usually require too much thought when you wear them. It can get annoying and you’ll never wear it again and it just takes up valuable closet space.

Getting it wrong in the first place
If there’s a slight problem with a piece of clothing, you’re likely to find it hard to wear with other clothes unless you put a lot of effort into fixing it. (Yes, even if it’s really, really cheap and it begs you to buy it!) . I’m talking about the things you say, “Oh, I’ll dye it” or “I’ll turn those buttons into zippers”. These changes take time and effort, not to mention money, and so many of us are so busy that sometimes you just can’t find the time to do it, and the years go by, and you’ll still have that yellow pair of pants you wanted to turn black.

When you can’t immediately think of a garment you can make from it
If something works and is actually worth buying, then you will be able to quickly name many different outfits that you can wear with it. This means that it fits perfectly into your closet. However, if you are struggling to figure out how to design it, then take that as a sign that it won’t work with the rest of your closet.
